Miss Caryl Elizabeth Benson of Winnetka and Alecander Moorhead Christie of Lake Forest were married Sept. 10 in Christ Church in Winnetka. The Rev. William S. Lea performed the evening ceremony which was followed by a reception in the bride's home. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Rixon Benson Jr. of Winntka and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. John Campbell Christie of Lake Forest. The bride chose an antique ivory silk satin gown. A lace crown held her court length veil. Mrs. Charles D. Peacock IV of Northbrook was matron of honor. Miss Susan J. Kurz and Miss Suzanne Seuvell of Winnetka were among the bridesmaids. John C. Christie Jr. of Evanston was his brother's best man. Ushers included George Benson III, Kell B. Benson, and Peter A. Benson, brothers of the bride, and Edward Christie, the bridegroom's brother. The couple lives in Evanston.
