Funeral services were held at Dubuque, Ia., last Saturday for Mrs. Frank A. Hancock, daughter of the late William Mitchell, former Minnesota Supreme court judge for 23 years, and sister of Attorney-General William D. Mitchell. Mrs. Hancock died Friday morning, July 1, at her home, 684 Pine street, Winnetka, after an illness of four weeks.

Besides her husband, who is vice president of W. A. Alexander and company and her brother, Attorney-General Mitchell, Mrs. Hancock is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Francis H. Hardy, of Hubbard Woods, and Mrs. Thomas L. Daniels, of St. Paul, Minn., and by two sisters, Mrs. J. K. Ewing, Jr., of Bellport, N. Y., and Mrs. H. L. Staples, of Minneapolis.

Mrs. Hancock was a member of the Illinois Women’s Athletic club. She was buried at Dubuque, the first home of Mr. and Mrs. Hancock.
