Mrs. William Schaad is visiting her parents at Clintonville, Wis. Mrs. Kate Elliott entertained several ladies at luncheon Saturday. Miss Mabel Higgins, Edison avenue, is visiting her grandparents in Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Carlstrom have moved into their new home on Edison avenue. Mr. F. E. Shannon is visiting in his old home in southern Illinois for a few weeks. Mr. Inglefritz, assistant agent here, is spending a few days at his home in Boone, Ia. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Wickens have moved in the S. W. Osgood house on Linden avenue. Mr. and Mrs. Kronvetter spent Sunday at the home of Mr. H. Tresch on Linden avenue. Mrs. James R. West has returned home after an extended visit with relatives in Canada. Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Pane have returned to England after a short stay with Mrs. Whitfield. Mr. William B. McIlvane and family are home after spending the summer at the seashore. W. N. Chatfield is improving his new subdivision on Ashland avenue by building new sidewalks. Mrs. C. M. Recktenwald was overcome by the intense heat of last week, but she is recovering. Miss Bernice Martis of Jacksonville, Ill., is the guest of her aunt, Mrs. R. L. Gonsalves on North avenue. Mr. Leslie Lomar of Benton Harbor, Mich., spent Saturday and Sunday with his friend, Ross Linville. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Dingwell and Mr. Stagg have gone to Waupun, Wis., to visit with Mrs. Dingwell's sister. Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Lyons entertained a number of friends from Chicago at their home on Darroch road Sunday. Mr. Milton Lyons has returned to his duties with the Chicago Telephone company after several weeks' vacation. Dr. and Mrs. Dwight C. Orcutt entertained a number of young people from Ravenswood Monday evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Angert of Cincinnati, O.
