Mrs. Isabel Kent has returned from Michigan. Mrs. Alfred Washington has returned from St. Paul, Minn. Mrs. George H. Morris had as her guest last week Mrs. Frank Evans. Mrs. George Arnold has returned from her summer home in the south. Mrs. E. M. Culver and daughter are visiting in Yellowstone National park. Miss Mabel Becker left this week to attend the Stetson university at Deland, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Schnur have returned from Europe where they spent the summer. Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Brigham and daughter, Fannie, have returned from a short stay in Michigan. Miss Helen Martin arrived home Friday from a stay of several weeks with relatives at Michigan City, Ind. Dougall Kittermaster has returned to Kingson, Can.,to complete his schooling in the Royal Military school. Mrs. Sherman M. Booth and Mrs. F. E. Compton are at Battle Creek, Mich. The Arden Shore benefit dance which was to have taken place last week has been postponed until October. Misses Madie and Emma Shultz have returned to Glencoe after a month's visit at their home, Mankata, Minn. Mrs. Charles Barnes and son, Richard, returned home from Quincy, Ill., where they attended the funeral of her father. Mrs. James K. Calhoun and daughter, Eleanor, and Miss Frances Hurford left Friday for Atlantic City. They will be absent three weeks. The quarterly conference of the Methodist Episcopal church will be held tomorrow evening at the home of Mr. W. F. Hamm, Hubbard Woods. Beginning Sunday, September 23, rally week will be observed at the Glencoe Union church. Throughout the week the different organizations will hold meetings.
