Mr. Hazell Smith. December 18, 1929 - September 7, 2010. Hazell Smith, 80, of Toney, Alabama, died at Huntsville (AL) Hospital. Entombment was held in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace. He is survived by his wife, Bernice, children, Charlotte Smith, Debra J. (Daniel) Woods, Barney A. Smith, Marilyn J. (Christopher) Coley, all of Evanston, IL; David W. (Karen) Smith, Sr. , of Meridianville, AL; Roger T. (Anna) Smith, Sr. of Fox Lake, IL; Tony B. (Ellison) Smith of Kalamazoo, MI; and Mitchelle (James) Heath of Newport News, VA; grandchildren, Jason Greer, Darnell Woods, Danielle Woods, Christopher Coley, Cameron Coley, Kelsey Coley, all of Evanston; David Smith, Jr. of Paletine, IL; Roger Smith, Jr., Erica Smith, and Ana Smith of Fox Lake, IL; Brianna Smith of Kalamazoo, MI; Justen Heath of Newport News, VA and Janae Heath of Meridianville, AL. ; four great-grandchildren; a devoted sister, Erma Smith Thomas of Cusseta, GA; a sister-in-law, Dorothy L. Wilson of Evanston, IL; a brother-in-law, Robert Boynton of Evanston, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
