By losing to the Olympics Sunday, the Clovers were put out of the running for the championship cup in the North Shore league. The game was a hard fought one and by outplaying their opponents at all stages the Olympics won, 7 to 5. The hitting of Murphy of the winners and Ruderman of the Clovers were bright features of the game. Murphy made four hits, while Ruderman doubled when the bases were full, scoring three runs. The fielding of Sammy Woods was spectacular. The secret of the Olympic's win was the hurling of Bruder. He held the slugging Clovers to seven hits and set an even dozen of the losers down on strikes. Because of the Clovers failure to win yesterday, the Foster Cubs have the title cup cinched.
