While visiting friends in Waukegan, Mrs. Altha J. Blackler, age 78, mother of Frank C. Conover, 714 Washington street, Evanston, died Sunday, Mrs. Blackler was the widow of the later John Blackler, who was well known in Evanston. For the last ten years Mrs. Blackler made her home with her son in Evanston and had many friends here. She formerly lived in Highland Park and Lake Forest. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian church of Evanston. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Lake Forest Presbyterian church. The burial was in the Lake Forest cemetery.
