Eugene McKay, oldest Davis Street merchant, was buried with Masonic rites at Rosehill. The funeral was held Thursday at the home of his son-in-law, Frank Carlborg, 1136 Sherman avenue. The pallbearers, all members of the Evans lodge No. 524, A. F. and A. M., were George Taylor, John Waldron, Edward Barber, Dr. H. B. Hemenway, Pratt Underwood and Thomas Berry. James E. Keelyn gave the tribute which is transcribed in this article.
