Miss Jessie Gage is in Saugatuck, Mich. Miss Catherine Howard is visiting friends in Michigan. Mrs. J. Kent Calhoun entertained with luncheon last Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gage returned last week from Holland, Mich. Miss Helen Martin is visiting with relatives at Michigan City, Ind. Miss Margaret Ziesing entertained with bridge last Tuesday afternoon. Miss Peggy Cochran of Sioux City, Minn., is the guest of Mrs. Jack Thomas. Mrs. Ben Newhall and Mrs. William Johnson left last week for North Manitou Island. Miss Mary Murdow has arrived home from a four months' visit at San Francisco, Cal. Mrs. Markham B. Orde entertained with bridge last Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Pierre Cambloss. Mr. Herbert Bartholf was operated on for appendicitis at the Evanston hospital the first of last week. Misses Catherine and Marie Mortimer were guests last week of Mrs. W. E. Mortimer, Greenleaf avenue. Miss MacBrien, who has been the guest of Mrs. Wilbur S. Sample, left last week for their home in Toronto. Marjory Miller entertained a number of her little friends with a birthday party last Thursday from 3 to 5. The Ladies' aid of the Methodist Episcopal church met with Mrs. William B. Leach, Green Bay road near Woodlawn avenue, Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Isaac McCurdy and son, Lawerence, and Paul and Donald Sample, who have been camping on Rock River near Dixon, Ill., have returned home last week.
