David Karash, 19, of Evanston, was relieved of a murder charge placed against him by the Chicago Police. The charge was reduced to disorderly conduct. Captain Joseph Smith, said that Karash and his two Chicago companions were no longer suspected of the murder of William Melse, ticket agent of the Garfield Park branch of the Metropolitan Elevated Road.
