Last week, Alexander Philby, 2523 N. Clark St., Chicago was killed west of Evanston while making a western movie for the American Film Manufacturing company. The funeral took place at the All Saints' Episcopal church, Hermitage and Wilson avenues, with a very ceremonial burial which included his fellow actors, the movie crew and his horse, "Petite Diablo", at Rosehill cemetery. Philby leaves a wife and four children.
