Full Text

Lake Shore society was keenly interested in the marriage Thursday of Miss Lina Owsley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heaton Owsley of Chicago and Glencoe, and niece of Mayor Carter H. Harrison, to Paul Bartlett, son of Mrs. Josiah Caleb Bartlett of Chicago and formerly of New York City. The marriage was performed in Glencoe by the Rev. George W. Arnold, pastor of St. Elizabeth church, Glencoe. The bride had no attendants, and the only guests were members of the family, among whom were Mayor and Mrs. Carter H. Harrison. The bride was gowned in her travelling costume. Mr. Bartlett is a son of the late Prof. Bartlett of Harvard. He was graduated from the Cambridge institution in 1904, studied painting abroad for four years, and is a member of the Little Theater company, for which he has written several plays. Immediately following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Bartlett left for a two weeks' camping trip in Canada. Upon their return they will make their home at 1625 La Salle avenue, Chicago.
