Judge Hook of Fort Leavensworth Federal Court, Fred James and Dr. Goodspeed of Chicago are among promoters of a new golf club in Plum Lake, Wis. It is in a colony of summer resorts. The area is so wild that it was necessary to surround the course with a ten foot wire fence to prevent deer from invading and cutting the putting green with their hoofs.
