- Romona will sell gently used books for a quarter each May 6 and 7. For more information, e-mail Liz Eisenstein.
The school needs volunteers for the WELL garden from noon-1:10 p.m. every Friday (and Thursday June 3) to help supervise the children in the outdoor classroom. For more information, contact Cathy Taylor.
Housed within Romona School is the Connecting Kids Preschool Program. The half-day sessions for 3, 4 and 5 year-old children are specifically designed to prepare children for District 39 kindergarten classrooms.
The program has a dual purpose of providing a program for children with specials needs, as well as providing a high-quality community preschool for typically developing children.
