Notes:
Baker Demonstration School--The Middle School just completed four days of performances of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," overseen by Baker drama teacher Lizanne Wilson. Set design was the work of artist-in-residence Meg Grgurich.

Syd Lieberman, an international story teller and Evanston resident, will tell the story of the Gettysburg Address to children in fourth and fifth grade in the Carlson Auditorium Friday.

Students in the fourth and fifth grade took a day trip to Springfield this week to visit the Illinois State Capitol, the Illinois State Museum, Lincoln's home, and the Lincoln Presidential Museum.

Ms. Makagon's first grade produces a daily blog with interviews with many of Baker's faculty and staff.
