Notes:
The Illinois Appellate Court panel ruled that a Northbrook woman who didn't immediately get a $40 baggage charge refund can proceed with her class-action lawsuit against American Airlines. The court denied permission for the class-action suit of three suburban residents to proceed over ComEd's slow restoration of electrical power after storms in August 2007. That lawsuit had been pursued by Frances Sheffler of Glenview, Mark Resnik of Wilmette and Debra Sloan and her son, Jason, of Des Plaines.
