The Kindness Connection recently hosted service learning projects at McKenzie. The Kindness Connection is an innovative not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting volunteerism by connecting schools, groups, and/or individuals with those in need through service learning activities.
This year's Scholastic Book Fair Diner--All You Can Read will be held Feb. 9-11.

McKenzie's Bloomin' Minds Benefit will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 6 at Park Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave., Glenview.

McKenzie's second grade Brownie Girl Scout Troop number 41084 is sponsoring a food drive to benefit the Hillside Food Pantry. For more information or to make a donation, contact Kristen Lipsey.

People may secure ad space in McKenzie's 30th annual Variety Show Program Book.

Award-winning Alaskan nature writer Debbie Miller will visit children in second and fourth grade Feb. 2 and 3.
