Jewelry valued at $3,000 was taken from women by a gunman who abruptly halted a bridge party at the home of Mrs. Henry Zander, Jr., 736 Cummings Avenue, Kenilworth, yesterday afternoon. The robber escaped in a small automobile which he had parked at hte curbing. Mrs. Zander is the wife of the Illinois State director of the Home Owners' Loan corporation. At press time, detailed information about the robberty was not available from the Kenilworth Police.
