The eighth grade girls will attend an all-day workshop on May 21 at Oakton Community College called Futures Unlimited.
The third grade will visit the Wilmette Historical Museum.

The annual St. Joseph pasta dinner will take place from 5:30-8pm May 22, in Meter Hall, 1740 Lake Ave., Wilmette. More information is available from Julie Sneyd-Duffy, Michelle McGregor or Helena Harron.

St. Joseph's annual Jubilee Jog will begin at 8 a.m. May 25. A portion of the proceeds from this year's jog will benefit the Peg Foley Memorial Scholarship Fund.
School Mass is May 26. Kindergarten will be preparing the mass; the choir will be the first grade.

The eighth grade will spend the day at Great America May 27. They will participate in math and science projects related to the rides.

Sister Mary Paul McCaughey, the superintendent of schools of the Archdiocese of Chicago, will visit the school for about an hour May 27.

Parents and children may say the Rosary at 3:15 p.m. Fridays in May in the Maria Immaculata Garden. Call Teresa Hirsch with any questions.

The following three individuals have been selected to serve on the St. Joseph School Board for a three-year term beginning in June, 2009: Michael Gervasio is a member of St. Joseph Parish and a parent of four children, three of whom are enrolled at St. Joseph School.

J. Andrew Walberer is a member of St. Joseph Parish and a parent of two children enrolled at St. Joseph School

Megan Floyd is an active Parish School Organization member, a member of St. Joseph Parish and a parent of three children enrolled at St. Joseph School.

In addition, the following individual has been selected to fulfill a two-year term on the School Board beginning June, 2009: Bob Daly has been a member of St. Joseph Parish since 1999. Daly has two children enrolled in St. Joseph School.
The last day for students in the 2, 3 and 4 year old programs will be June 5. It will also be the final day for the eighth grade, which will spend the day on an architectural tour of the Loop. Their graduation will take place the following day at the 5 p.m. Mass. Field Day will be held on June 9 at Howard Park. June 10 will be a full day of school. Students in grades kindergarten through seventh grade should bring a lunch that day. The final day for kindergarten through seventh will be at 10 a.m. June 11.

The 2009-2010 school year will commence Aug. 26. A calendar will be sent home shortly.
