March 13 is "Central School Rocks", our Teacher Appreciation Party at Tommy Nevin's Pub in Evanston, to show appreciation for all the teachers and families who contribute in so many ways to the school.

• All fourth grade "farewell" photos are due tomorrow, March 13.

• From now until Spring Break, Central school is participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) "Pennies for Patients" community service and learning program.

• If you are interested in signing up for garden recess duty in the spring or helping with maintenance, please contact Marcia Leadholm.

• The International Club welcomes anyone interested in the free monthly foreign film screenings. Contact Lynn Alberding with any questions.

• Playground volunteers are still needed during winter and spring. Contact Beth Gordon to volunteer.
