History teacher Mike Small, an advocate for civil rights, presented three civil rights heroes tied to the Emmett Till case Feb. 10 to the students. Wheeler Parker, Willie Reed and Simeon Wright shared their memories, stories and insights on this historic case.
Analisa Condon was one of two high school seniors awarded the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award for their schools Dec. 11, 2008, by the Skokie Valley DAR chapter at a luncheon at the Glen View Club in Golf.
