On Feb. 6, the Girl Scouts put on their annual Scamper production. The girls performed a variety of contemporary songs, some whose lyrics were rephrased to fit the evening's theme, and they also danced.

• On Feb. 10, the school and Kenilworth School District 38 opened their doors to host the Northern Area Spelling Bee of the Scripps National Spelling Bee sponsored by ComEd and the Suburban Cook County Regional Office of Education.

Feb. 24 -- JSPVA board meeting -- (multipurpose room) 8:30 a.m.

Feb. 25 -- Girl Scout father/daughter dance (Kenilworth assembly hall) 7 p.m.

Feb. 26 -- Kindergarten music program -- Nygaard Auditorium, 6:45 p.m.

Feb. 27 -- End of second trimester.

Feb. 27 -- Barb Monier bullying awareness and teaching tolerance (parent presentation in the multipurpose room) 9:15 a.m.
