Friday marks the end of the first semester.
Catholic high school entrance exams for eighth-grade students will take place Saturday morning.

Registration is under way for the 2009-2010 school year .

Today (Jan. 8), the varsity basketball teams host St. Margaret Mary.
This weekend, the sixth-grade boys team will participate in a tournament at St. Catherine Laboure and the boys fifth-grade teams will play at 12:40 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glenview.

St. Joseph will host Holy Cross on Monday.

On Wednesday, the sixth-grade girls and the girls varsity team host St. Francis Xavier at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. respectively.

Jan. 16 will be a pizza day, an out-of-uniform day for students in kindergarten through eighth grades.

There will be no school Jan. 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The i is looking for pictures of school activities and events for the auction DVD and for the school yearbook. Pictures may be left in the PSO yearbook folder in the school office or sent via e-mail to Colleen Golden.
