Many residents of Wilmette were grieved to hear of the death of Mrs. E. M. Reeves, mother of Mrs. C. M. Hoadley, which occurred Saturday afternoon at her home, 1734 Elmwood avenue, after an illness of three months' duration. The funeral services were held from the home on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. T. K. Gale reading the service. The burial took place at West Farmrington, Ohio, Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Reees has made her home here with her daughter for the past thirteen years, and was exceedingly well-known for the good Christian example that she set among her many friends. Besides Mrs. Hoadley she leaves a son, Mr. George Reeves, of Chicago.
