Notes:
Ryan Foley, 25, of GLencoe, finished first in his class Sunday at the Accenture Chicago Triathlon and Emily Vitt, 24, of Kenilworth, in her first race, finished third in the 1/2 triathlon. Wilmette resident David Roadhouse won his age group (60-64).
Christian Ahlin of Winnetka and New Trier High School was selected to represent the United States at the USA Volleyball Youth Championships in Tucson last month.
PPK winners
More than 200 participated in the 2nd Annual Glencoe Trevian NFL Punt Pass and Kick competition Aug. 28. The top three among 8-9 year olds: Dylan Horvitz, Chase Thomas and Nicholas Solomon. The top three 10-11 year olds include Darrell Clairborne, Jack Bechtold and Matthew Horvitz. The top three 12-13 year olds were William WIlliams, DOnte Hampton and donavan Morris. The top three 14 year olds: Greg Hickenbottom, Joshua Franklin, Ben Roseberg. The top three seniors: Gregg Horvitz, Mark Rice and Quincy French
