Dan Seals of Wilmette sponsored the sale of reduced price gasoline to about 50 motorists at the Marathon Gas Station in Loncolnshire on Thursday afternoon. He said the purpose was to highlight how much the price of gas had increased since Congressman Mark Kirk and President George Bush came to office in 2001. Kirk, R-10th of Highland Park, called the event a "political stunt"
