Notes:
A newly built house at Golf Terrace at the heart of a neighborhood dispute will be allowed to remain out of code after village trustees said the mistake was at least partly the village's fault. The board voted Jan. 8 to grant variations to Kevin and Kerrie Mudd for their home built about 10 inches over the 35-foot height limit. Neighbors Daphne and Woody Denham said tensions over the zoning dispute led them to move to Winnetka last summer.
