Wilmette residents whose homes were flooded in the Aug. 23, 2007 storms say they want the village to complete plans for a storm-water pumping station back-up generator to prevent a repeat of the floods. The village has scheduled a town hall meeting Jan. 24 at Village Hall. Comments by resident Eliot Becker whose La Porte Avenue home was flooded with sewage-tainted storm water.
