Chart showing the number of active listings, the days they have been on the market, and the "months supply" of homes currently for sale in Evanston, Glencoe, Glenview, Northbrook, Northfield, Wilmette, Winnetka. For the Chicago housing market as a whole, the average days a home was on the market was 125 days as of Nov. 17 versus 87 days a year ago, and 80 days in 2005. As of December 2007, Wilmette had 26 active listings in the 0 to $499,999 price range; 93 listings in the $500,000 to $999,999 price range; and 60 listings in the $1 million to $1.9 million price range, or an average of six months supply in all price ranges.
