The name of Sergeant Andrew Courtney Campbell, Jr., Kenilworth aviator and member of the Lafayette escadrille, who died in France, appears on a plaque presented to the Aero Club of America by the French. Eleven names of American airmen who died in the war are on the plaque, two of whom are from the Chicago area: Sergeant James R. McConnell, son of Samuel B. McConnell and Sergeant Major Norman Prince
