Carl Hugo Linn, of 214 Fifth street, Wilmette, died Tuesday at the Evanston hospital after an illness of three weeks. Mr. Linn was 45 years old at the time of his death and is survived by his widow, Mrs. Martha Linn, and two children.

As vice-president of the Mitchell-Faust Advertising company of Chicago, Mr. Linn was well known among advertising men throughout the country. He had been in the advertising business for twenty-five years and was at one time associated with Lord and Thomas.

The cause of Mr. Linn's death was a severe cold followed by complications.

Funeral services were held yesterday at Memorial Park chapel at 2 o'clock and burial was at Memorial Park. Mr. Linn's mother, Mrs. John Linn, of Wahoo, Neb., and his brother Rudolph, also of Wahoo, and Mrs. Linn's mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Verbeck, of Pentwater, Mich., came for the funeral.
