Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Louise Renneckar, wife of C. E. Renneckar, local pharmacist, who passed away last Monday at her home 935 Elmwood avenue, Wilmette, following a long period of illness, were held from the home Wednesday afternoon. Interment was at Memorial Park. Mrs. Rennecker [sic] is survived by her husband and her daughter, Mrs. Thomas L. D. Hall, of Wilmette.

Mrs. Renneckar was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. McCracken and was born in Shakleyville, Penn., on November 22, 1871. She became the bride of Mr. Renneckar on February 27, 1894, the newlyweds residing at Cleveland, Ohio, and later removing to Wilmette in 1807.

Since her residence in this village she has been very active in the Wilmette Woman's club and has been an ardent worker in the philanthropy department of that organization. She was also a member of the Ouilmette Country club and the Tuesday and Friday clubs. In these organizations, as in all other activities, she was ever willing to do more than her share.

Mrs. Renneckar was especially noted among the ex-service men in the hospitals at Great Lakes and Fort Sheridan and elsewhere as she was constantly in touch with them, aiding in ministration to their needs and in bringing cheer into their lives. Both during the war and since, she has devoted a great amount of time and energy to this work and was dearly loved by all with whom she came in contact.

Her cheerful personality and splendid character made her a wonderful woman and it was certainly an inspiration to know her."

As a final tribute, friends and relatives from all sections of the country gathered Wednesday to participate in the brief but impressive services, among them being Mrs. George Murdoch of Davenport, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Southworth of Lake Geneva, Mrs. H. Wallace Brown of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Loren Hall of Sterling, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Finley of Chicago.
