Funeral services for Oscar Edwin Fuchs, 206 Woodstock avenue, Kenilworth, who passed away on January 1, were held on Tuesday afternoon of this week at the Scott chapel in Wilmette under the auspices of the Wilmette Masonic Lodge. Mr. Fuchs was found at the wheel of his automobile in the dlosed garage of his home on Saturday evening. Kenilworth police and Winnetka firemen aided physicians in an attempt to revive him, but he was pronounced dead of carbon monoxide asphyxiation. At a coroner's inquest on Monday, a jury returned an open verdict, and it was indicated that the doors of the garage had closed accidentally. A resident of Kenilworth for the past 10 years, he had lived in Wilmette previously for nine years. He was head of the Fuchs electrical concernin Chicago, and was a member of the Shriners and of the Medinah Athletic club. He is survived by his widow; by a son, Howard, a student at the Colorado state college of agriculture; by two daughters, Edwina and Gwendolyn, both of Kenilworth, and by three sisters, Miss Olive and Miss Myrtle Fuchs, and MRs. Lillian Smythe, all of Evanston.
